We at the AOC Holdings group make it management philosophy to contribute to the realization of satisfactory life and comfortable environment of our society through a stable supply of oil, natural gas and petroleum products, critically important sources of energy, to support people's life and industry. In order to realize this philosophy, we at the AOC Holdings group hereby lay down the Charter of Corporate Behavior and aim to become a business corporation that will gain firm trust and support of local communities and society.
Stable Supply
We are committed to provide a stable supply of oil, natural gas and petroleum products to our nation.
Safe Operation and Environmental Protection
We work on development and production of oil and natural gas and production of quality petroleum products with full consideration for safe operation without accidents nor disasters, and always strive to promote awareness to Environmental Protection among us and tackle environmental issues aggressively and positively.
Social Contribution
We actively engage in philanthropic and other activities of social benefit and strive to contribute to the development of society. We as a member of the international community respect the culture, religion, customs and languages of each nation or area where we operate and try to contribute to their development.
Observance of Laws, Regulations and Rules
We strictly observe laws, regulations and rules applying to our activities both domestically and overseas and conduct ourselves in a socially responsible manner in conformity with ethical standards.
Rejection of Antisocial Entities
We strive to promote company systems to prevent damages from antisocial entities. And we also strive to prevent their interventions to individual corporate activities.
Achieving Better Communication
We shall achieve the extensive communication with members of society such as shareholders, customers and local citizens and disclose corporate information actively and fairly.
Respect for Employees' Individuality and Differences
We strive to develop our employees' ability, respect their personality and individuality, to promote safe and comfortable working conditions, and to ensure the physical and mental well being of them.
Resolution of Problems
The highest level of management must assume the responsibility for implementing this charter and for taking all necessary action in order to promote awareness of it among all those concerned. In the event of a violation of the principles of this charter, management must investigate the cause of the violation, develop reforms to prevent its recurrence and make information publicly available regarding the intended actions for reform. After the prompt public disclosure of appropriate information regarding the violation, responsibility for the violation and its effects should be clarified and disciplinary actions should be taken, which includes the highest level of management where necessary.
