Message from the Management
AOC Holdings group was established in January 2003 from the integration of Arabian Oil Company, Ltd. and Fuji Oil Company, Ltd. The former, a pioneer in the development of overseas oil fields by Japanese firms, is engaged in exploration, development and production of oil and natural gas, and the latter is engaged in refining of crude oil and sale of petroleum products by operating the large-scale refinery located in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
Since then, the basic management policy has been to maximize corporate value for stakeholders by optimizing group-wide upstream and downstream oil operations, the core business area of the group, through the integrated management of the group companies.
Under this management policy, AOC Holdings group further concentrates on maximized mobilization and efficient utilization of its management resources, improving profitability and strengthening competitiveness in union.
Furthermore, the group is fully committed itself to contribute to the realization of satisfactory life and comfortable environment of our society through a stable of oil, natural gas and petroleum products, critically important sources of energy, to support peoples' life and industry. We are also determined to fulfill its social mission so as to ensure safety operations and environmental protection, and to contribute to the society.
